Paper Piecing with Attitude

The colors are so bright and vibrant, it just makes me think of summer!


For this card, Judy used Prismacolor pencils for the skin, shoes, and accessories, but she paper pieced the dress. Perfect, don't you think?

I Wanna Be a Cowgirl

Another fabu sample today! This card was created by Marilyn Valadez using Cowgirl Frizzzzzz.

She colored the image with Copic Markers, and the patterned cardstock is by Graphic 45. Embellished with some flowers and rhinestones and Viola . . . a perfect card for any occasion!

Wait . . . does that last name sound familiar? It should because Marilyn is Cheryl's mom.

Speaking of Cheryl and Marilyn, they stopped by the booth at the stamp convention in Albuquerque to deliver the cards they made. It's always so nice to meet our customers in person!

Kick Up Your Heels!

Here's a boot-scootin'-super-cute card perfect for anyone's birthday! Judy Trim used Kitten Boot Holidays to make this masterpiece.





She stamped the image once on white cardstock to color the kitty, and then again on patterned cardstock for the boot. She used Prismacolor pencils to color the kitty, the heel, and the flowers. She added dimension by mounting the boot using foam tape, and texture by embossing the turquoise cardstock with a Cuttlebug folder. The sentiment stamp is by Stampendous.

Sparkly Hummingbird

Today, we're featuring a card created by Kecia Waters using the Hummingbird stamp. Look how sparkly!

She stamped the image onto Acetate using Staz On ink, then on the back side of the acetate applied Art Institute glue and sprinkled glitter to the different sections. She suggests applying the glue and glitter one section at a time.
